Dr. Antony received the CPA Award for Distinguished Contributions to Education and Training in Psychology at the recent CPA convention in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Dr. Antony was nominated for this competitive award by a number of colleagues and students, both past and present.  Upon presentation of this award, CPA cited Dr. Antony’s contribution to the understanding of the etiology, psychopathology, assessment, and treatment of anxiety and other related disorders.  In addition, CPA cited his impact on the development of training opportunities at the institutional level, his advocacy work in leadership roles in the field, and his dedication to serving as a mentor to many future leaders in the profession.
